Hi, I'm João.

Software engineering student, freelancer since 2024.
I build apps using AI.

Now

In July 2026 I started a Software Engineering degree with an emphasis in Artificial Intelligence Engineering at Instituto Infnet, online, running through 2030, and alongside it I maintain Bananablet as a hobby, my browser extension for the game Habblet (a retro version of Habbo Hotel), which has already passed 4,000 installs and has around 1.9k active users every month.

Right now I build everything using AI.

Projects

Bananablet MV3 · Cloudflare Workers · R2 · Supabase · VPS since 2025

About

I've loved computers since I was a kid, and I still couldn't focus long enough to keep studying and actually learn to program: I started several times and quit every time. Between 2021 and 2023 I started poking around cloud computing, worked quite a lot with Microsoft Azure, and that is how I made my first money through tech, helping friends and doing small jobs.

In January 2024 I moved to Juazeiro do Norte and in July I picked up the first jobs for the optical shop, with a friend. In February 2025 I went to Perth, Australia, for an exchange: four months of English at ILSC, where I completed level Advanced 2, and then a Certificate III in Information Technology at TAFE, a qualification under the Australian VET system, and I returned to Brazil in June 2026.

I'm studying at Infnet now, and I'd like to live abroad again if the chance comes through programming.
